Elon Musk confirmed on Sunday that the new Twitter Blue subscription service, which includes verification (blue badge), will be available in India in less than a month.
Twitter has already begun testing a Twitter Blue subscription plan for Apple iOS users, which includes verification and other perks.
When a Twitter follower asked Musk when the Twitter Blue would be available in India, he replied, “Hopefully, in less than a month.”
“Wow, that was quick!” Looking ahead, I’m guessing it’ll be around INR 649. “It’ll be interesting to see if it includes GST or if it brings it close to $10,” tweeted Prabhu.
“Price will be based on Purchasing Power Parity, so we can expect Rs 199 after GST,” another user commented.
Musk, on the other hand, has not disclosed how much Twitter will charge Indian users for its new Blue subscription service.

According to the most recent App Store update, users must pay for the new Blue plan to be verified on the platform “just like the celebrities, companies, and politicians you already follow.”
Twitter product manager Esther Crawford confirmed that the plan is not yet live, but that some users “may see us making updates because we are testing and pushing changes in real time.”
“Twitter has officially launched the revamped Twitter Blue for $7.99 per month in select countries,” a Twitter user said.
Musk previously stated about charging $8 for the Blue subscription service, saying, “Trash me all day, but it’ll cost $8.”
