Air Canada: The Canadian Transportation Agency has fined Air Canada $97,500 for allegedly violating the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations.
The imposition of a penalty of $97,500 is due to multiple infractions of the regulations.
According to the agency, Air Canada neglected to assist a wheelchair user in disembarking the aircraft on August 30.

The passenger, who is immobile on his legs due to spastic cerebral palsy, was compelled to evacuate independently.
Additionally, the CTA claims that Air Canada failed to make sure that while the passenger waited in the terminal, its staff periodically checked him in.
