April Bank Holidays: If you need to visit a bank soon, you should know that banks in most places will be closed for three days in a row starting today. Many customers might not know this, but these three days include both regular and special holidays.
Bank branches will remain shut for three full days Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. But remember, banks will not be closed in every state on April 14. Some states might still have their branches open. So, it’s always good to check your local holiday list.

Online Banking Will Still Work
Even though many bank branches will be shut, digital banking services will continue to work as usual. Some areas will see extra bank holidays in the same week. The Reserve Bank of India shared this in the holiday calendar:
- April 15: Agartala, Itanagar, and Shimla Regional Offices will be closed
- April 15 & 16: Guwahati Regional Office will remain closed

Stock Market Closed in April
The stock market will also have several days off in April. In total, it will stay closed for 11 days, including weekends and public holidays. Two key dates are:
