Ayurvedic Preventive Measures For Covid 19: The increasing cases of Corona virus have sparked a sense of somewhat fear amongst the population. Although there are fewer cases than before, urban spots such as Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad have seen a small but important rise in infections. India currently reports 257 active Covid-19 cases and Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have the highest numbers.
According to health authorities, older adults, pregnant people and those with existing medical conditions should return to wearing masks inside and washing their hands regularly.
Uncovering the Covid 19 new variant
Experts say the increase in Covid-19 cases across Asia is due to the JN.1 and its related sublineages which are part of the Omicron BA.2.86 family.
Singaporean health authorities say that the LF.7 and NB.1.8 variants, both related to JN.1, are now spreading quickly.
The BA.2.86 variant which falls under Omicron, is the parent of the JN.1 lineage. The World Health Organization has listed JN.1 as a “variant of interest” instead of a “variant of concern,” for now. The WHO has also pointed out that, worldwide, the public health risk of JN.1 is still very low.
Individuals infected with the JN.1 variant have reported symptoms such as:
- Dry cough
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhea
- Runny nose
- Nausea and vomiting
- Brain fog
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
The best way to prevent yourself from this is to strengthen your immunity.
