Delhi-NCR Railway Stations Upgrade: Travelling from major railway stations in Delhi-NCR could become much easier as authorities are working to bring trains, metro services, Namo Bharat and buses closer together. The plan is to turn important railway stations into integrated transport hubs. Passengers won’t have to take long routes or cross busy roads just to change from one type of transport to another.
The proposed facilities will include skywalks, foot overbridges and underground subways. Some locations will also get parking spaces, EV charging points and better last mile transport. The wider aim is to make passenger movement smoother and reduce traffic around busy stations.
