Reyhna Pandit On Zeeshan Khan Breakup: Television actress Reyhna Pandit has spoken openly about her relationship with actor Zeeshan Khan and the difficult phase that eventually led to their breakup. The two actors met while working on Kumkum Bhagya and their romance became public in 2021. They later parted ways in 2023 and had also spoken about trying to reconnect in 2024.
Reyhna recently spoke about the relationship on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast. She said that with time she felt the relationship wasn’t giving her what she needed. She also said that having chemistry with someone doesn’t always mean the two people are compatible.
“I don’t know what that relationship happened. Felt that it had nothing to offer to me. We should not mistake chemistry to compatibility. Emotional maturity was not there,” she said.
Reyhna Says The Relationship Left Her with Trauma
Reyhna also spoke about the 10-year age gap between her and Zeeshan. She said that age wasn’t the main problem. For her, emotional understanding and the way they handled the relationship mattered more.
The actress said she wanted a partner who would simply be there for her. She also admitted that she doesn’t take well to being controlled. Reyhna said she had watched Zeeshan on reality shows before and felt that some things could have been warning signs. However, she was in love at that time and didn’t want to judge him only because of what she saw on television.
She said she had an instinct that the relationship wasn’t right for her but she ignored it because she wanted to make things work. According to Reyhna, she put a lot of effort into the relationship and later took its failure personally. This eventually caused her “a lot of trauma.”
‘I Was Suggested To Convert’
Reyhna also spoke about the differences between the two of them. She said their backgrounds, religious beliefs and outside influences became a reason for conflict.
“I was dealing with a lot of criticism from him. My religious faith was questioned. I was suggested to convert (Islam), but that also created a lot of rift. I felt that it was not his voice, but his external (family or environment) voice.”
The actress said she felt that these issues created more distance between them. She also said she had heard that Zeeshan wanted to marry her. But from her side, she never felt fully secure about that because she felt that whatever she did was still not enough.

Reyhna and Zeeshan had earlier confirmed their relationship in October 2021 after getting close while shooting Kumkum Bhagya. Their relationship also attracted attention because of their age difference. In 2023, they first described their separation as a break before later confirming that they had ended things for good.
