The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to announce the successor to Arvind Kejriwal as the Delhi Chief Minister today at 12 pm. The announcement will follow the legislative party meeting, the party confirmed.
The Delhi Assembly session is scheduled for September 26 and 27.
AAP functionaries stated that the new Chief Minister’s name would be disclosed after the legislative meeting. Kejriwal announced his resignation from the Chief Minister’s post on Sunday, citing the need for a ‘certificate of honesty’ from the public before resuming the role.
