“Administration forcing us to vote for particular candidate,” claims Begusarai voters

Begusarai: Begusarai is one of the five constituencies that are undergoing voting in Bihar in the the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Election 2019. In a shocking development coming from the constituency, voters of the Karichak Babhangama panchayat alleged that administration is forcing them to vote for a particular candidate.

As per NewsD correspondent, the voters alleged administration of vote manipulation and that they were forced to press on button 2 while casting their votes. Button 2 reportedly belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and union minister Giriraj Singh.

Begusarai is undergoing a triangular contest between CPI candidate Kanhaiya Kumar, BJP’ Giriraj Singh and Rashtriya Janata Dal’ (RJD) Tanveer Hassan.

Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency comprises of following Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments: Cheria Bariarpur, Bachhwara, Teghra, Matihani, Sahebpur Kamal, Begusarai, Bakhri.

According to Election Commission of India 2009 data the total electorates in the Begusarai Parliamentary constituency were 1,473,263 of which 687,910 are females and 785,353 are males.
