Ahmedabad: Gujarat CM barred from attending Trump-Modi roadshow

Gujarat Cheif Minister Vijay Rupani has been barred from attending the US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow. Rupani wanted to attend the roadshow but America’s secret agency has not allowed his car to join the convoy.

Trump will visit India for his two-day long trip that will begin on February 24 and will take an end on February 25.

After Trump reaches India, the security charge will be taken care of by the American Secret Agency. The decision of whose car will enter the convoy will be decided by the American secret agency.

During the visit of President Trump, he will have a roadshow with PM Modi once he arrives in Ahmedabad during his two-day-long visit and the security arrangements for the programs are being finalized.

Trump will reach Ahmedabad directly from Washington on February 24 and PM Modi will be present at the airport in the honour to welcome him. After that, the roadshow will be conducted which will be more than half-hour long.

The US President is scheduled to reach Ahmedabad by noon on February 24 and will address a mammoth crowd of more than 1 lakh people who are going to turn up the event Namaste Trump at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. They will later travel to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and will fly down to Delhi later that night.
