AILET Cut off 2020: National Law University Delhi would be releasing the category-wise AILET 2020 cutoff for various programs at the time of counselling and seat allotment. The AILET cut off 2020 released will indicate the minimum score (or last rank) for which admission is granted to candidates for each category.
If candidate misses the AILET cutoff score (or rank), would be more or less out of the admission process, so the AILET applicant must try to score more than the cutoff score.
The various factors that influence the AILET cutoff are- the number of applicants to a program, their performance in AILET 2020 exam and category, and also seat intake.
If any of these parameters are changed, the AILET 2020 cutoff will also automatically change.
NOTE: This year, the AILET seat matrix has already been changed.
Factors affecting AILET cutoff 2020
Number of applicants taking AILET
Last year, 18,583 students appeared in the exam. This year, about 20,000 candidates would take AILET 2020 and this may result in tough competition.
Level of difficulty and performance of applicants
However, the AILET cut off will depend on how good the students are prepared for the exam. COVID-19 has on one hand, given additional time to several candidates for AILET preparation, it has also affected the normal life, access to study material, coaching institutes etc.
The difficulty level of the test will be one of the most important factors that will affect AILET cut off.
Sanctioned seat intake
The candidates should be happy by knowing the fact the NLUD is now more accommodative with an increased number of intake.
Till last year, the varsity used to grant only 80 seats in BA LLB programme but this year the seats have been increased up to 120 out of which 110 seats will be offered on the basis of AILET. The increased number of seats will affect AILET cut off 2020 in a positive manner.
If any of the changes in the above parameters, the AILET 2020 cutoff would also change. Consequently, the cutoff of AILET varies across programs and categories.
