A flyer on the Air India Bhopal -Mumbai flight AI-634 claimed that he was served with a dead cockroach in his morning meal in the flight on Saturday morning.

The passenger, Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan complained to the crew regarding the insect in the food they served but according to him his complaint was ignored and went to no avail.

After the airline crew ignored his complaint he decided to take it to the social media. He posted a picture of his meal with the dead insect lying in it and the flyer has also lodged a complaint to the Mumbai authorities.

When the crew began to serve the food to the passengers, Rohit had spotted the insect in his meal kit. When he claimed about the matter to the crew, they ignored the complaint and started serving the meal to other passengers.

“It was found in the sambhar served in the aircraft. I informed the Air India crew, but they ignored me,” The Times of India quoted Chauhan as saying. “Since the crew members were not listening, I returned it to them. I even objected to their serving food to others, but to no avail,” he said.

According to a new portal, the flyer wrote a complaint letter and got it signed by the crew members on board.  He also stated in his complaint the airline management did not respond to his complaint.

Air India manager, Rajendra Malhotra has denied any such allegations and said that they did not receive any complaint from Bhopal.
