Is it time for yet another big fat celebrity wedding in B’Town? Well, it does seem like it. After Virat-Anushka and Deepika-Ranveer, guess which couple is headed to Lake Como in Italy. It is Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Yes, the Brahmastra couple are rumoured to have headed to Lake Como for a vacation. Even though the movie is still a year from release, the couple have decided to take a short vacay as they both have choc-a-block schedules.
Ever since the duo accepted their relationship publicly, it has been rumoured that they would walk down the aisle soon. However, while talking to the media, Soni Razdan, Alia Bhatt’s mother categorically denied these rumours.”Look, it is sweet of all their fans to ask everything about them. I am Alia’s mother. I really do not want to talk about my daughter’s personal life.” The rumours of the couple tying the knot this year have been floating since the beginning of the year.”
Amidst, all these rumours Alia Bhatt has posted a beautiful picture of herself in a peach singlet, from Lake Como with the caption ,”soul full of sunshine. ” Well, we can imagine how lovely it must feel to have your bae by your side in a dreamy location. The duo were shooting for a schedule of their Brahmastra, in Germany which is when they decided to take a break. Ranbir Kapoor, is said was in need of a break as he had been busy shuttling between New York and Mumbai, to be by his father, Rishi Kapoor’s side as the veteran actor was being treated for Cancer.
Also, a while back, Alia had said in an interview with Pinkvilla, “I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later.”
Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir are spending quality time together and have been expressive about their love for each other quite often. At an award ceremony, after getting an award for Best Actress, Alia thanked Ranbir and shouted, “I Love You” which was one of the cutest PDA moments for this Bollywood couple. Time and again, Alia has praised Ranbir for the person he is and also for the artist he is on-screen. On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. Brahmastra will release in the summer of 2020.
