Telangana government decided to promote all the class 10th students in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic crisis across the state.
The decision to promote all 10th students was taken by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao after he reviewed the situation at a high-level meeting held on Monday, June 8.
The promotion of all 10th students will be done based on the internal assignment marks and the grades awarded to them.
As per the official press release, there were 5,34,903 students in the State taking the SSC exams. The lockdown was announced after the holding of three exams for two subjects. According to the instructions of the High Court, the examination was postponed.
The Chief Minister reviewed the tenth class examination systems in all the States and made a decision. Education minister Sabita Indra Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Education secretary Chitra Ramachandran and others attended the meeting held on June 8.
