New Delhi: Former Delhi Youth Congress chief Amit Malik who joined BJP in 2017 has rejoined the Congress in New Delhi today.
“Amit Malik is a popular youth leader, his return will certainly boost party and energise young cadres in Delhi,” said Narinder Tokas, former Delhi University student’s union president.
Amit Malik ’s decision to leave Congress was a big jolt to Congress just before the MCD election held last year.
Amit Malik had left Congress ahead of MCD polls in 2017 citing ignorance. Amit Malik contested 2014 assembly elections on Congress ticket.
Senior leaders indicated that Amit Malik can be given important responsibility in Delhi Congress unit before the assembly elections.
