Andhara Pradesh: Three found dead inside Anantapur Shiva temple; human sacrifice suspected

In an incident of suspected human sacrifice and black magic, three persons, including an elderly couple, were found murdered with their throats slit outside a temple in Korthikota of Tanakal in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh on Monday morning.

Police and locals suspect the trio might have been offered as a sacrifice by treasure hunters to lay their hands on the hidden treasures in the temple. The assailants sprinkled the blood of the trio in the premises of the temple giving suspicion of human sacrifice.

Of the three victims, two were found lying on a cot, and on the ground, in a pool of blood. A  devotee who came to the temple in the morning found the dead bodies and informed the police.
