Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Police are now looking into a new angle in the Ketan Agarwal murder case. Investigators are checking whether Chetan Chaudhary forced Siya Goyal to go ahead with the killing of her fiancé. According to NDTV, police are studying recorded calls and private messages to see if Chetan used them to blackmail Siya and threaten to expose their relationship to the Agarwal family if she backed out of the murder plan. Officers are also checking if he kept her trapped in the case by threatening to reveal her role in an earlier failed attempt in May.

Police are also studying why the plan may have changed. One part of the probe is whether Chetan first wanted to elope with Siya, but later turned that idea into a murder plan because of the money and social position linked to the Agarwal family. NDTV reported that investigators believe the wealth and status angle may have played a big part in how the case grew so serious.
Old Attempts Under The Scanner
The financial side is being checked too. Siya’s bank accounts are being audited to see whether money moved from her to Chetan. Police are trying to find out if those funds helped pay for travel, clothes, and other things connected to the repeated murder attempts. They are also checking whether Chetan asked Siya for money after learning about the failed May attempt. Investigators want to know if she promised him a fixed monthly amount or one large payment later on.
Forensic teams are also tracing cash withdrawals made by Siya in the days before June 18. Police believe these small money moves may help explain how the plan was arranged. NDTV also reported that Siya and Ketan were engaged in February and were set to marry in November, with a palace in Jaipur booked for Rs 17 crore and two private planes arranged for guests.
CCTV Clues
Another key part of the case is the CCTV footage. Police have collected video from a Pune cafe that allegedly shows Siya and Chetan meeting on June 17, one day before Ketan died at Lohagad Fort. NDTV reported that this meeting is being treated as a planning point in the case.

The Lohagad Fort Attack
The earlier and later attacks are also being studied. Police say Siya allegedly tried to push Ketan off the fort on June 14, but he survived by holding on to a bush. On June 18, investigators say Siya and Chetan met again, went to the fort, and then allegedly pushed Ketan from behind into a gorge. NDTV also reported that after the killing, the two accused began blaming each other during questioning.
