iPhone Air 2 may Fix the Weak Spots
The latest leaks suggest that iPhone Air 2 could get a much better camera setup. Instead of one rear camera, it may come with two. That means a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera.
Some reports also say Apple may use a thinner Face ID module so there is room for the extra lens inside the slim body. The front camera is also expected to stay strong, with an 18MP selfie camera still being talked about in current rumor roundups.
Chip, Screen and Battery
On the inside, the phone is expected to use Apple’s next 2nm chip. Different leaks call it the A20 or A20 Pro, but both point to a newer and faster chip than the current one.
The battery rumor is also better now, with current estimates around 3,149mAh and wireless charging support. For the display, the talk is about a 6.55-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Some leak rounds also mention 3D face recognition.

iPhone 18 Link
The standard iPhone 18 is also getting attention. It is expected to be the more normal model in the lineup, with fewer big changes than the Air 2. Current reports point to a 6.3-inch display, the A20 chip, possibly 12GB RAM, and a 24MP front camera. Some leaks also say the display could get brighter and the Dynamic Island may become smaller across the iPhone 18 family.
Launch Date
The launch plan also looks different from the usual Apple pattern. Instead of putting every iPhone out at once, Apple is now expected to split the lineup. The Pro models and Apple’s first foldable iPhone may arrive in fall 2026.
The standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and possibly iPhone Air 2 are then expected in spring 2027. That is the current rumor path, even though older reports pointed to different timings.
