Targeted at gamers, Asus recently unveiled the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas. In the wake of this, the Taiwanese company has now disclosed the prices for the ROG Phone 8 Pro for the Indian market.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro price in India
There are no differences in specifications between the ROG Phone 8 and Phone 8 Pro, with the former offering an Aura RGB LED logo on the back and the latter providing an AniMe Vision mini-LED system. Additionally, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is available in two variants in India. The RAM and storage configurations of the two phones differ as well.
It is priced at Rs 94,999 ($1,142) with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. In contrast, the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition, which comes with 24 gigabytes of RAM and 1 TB of storage, costs Rs 1,19,999 ($1,444). It is only available in Phantom Black color. The AeroActive Cooler X accessory is available at Rs 5,999 (~$722).
As of this writing, Asus has not announced an official release date for the ROG Phone 8 Pro, however, it has been confirmed that it will be sold through Vijay Sales, Asus Exclusive stores, Asus ROG stores, and the Asus online store.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro specifications
It features a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED LTPO panel with FHD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 2,500 nits of brightness, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. As part of its specs, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. It operates on Android 14.
With a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, it is equipped with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor with a 3x optical zoom.
