A bizarre incident led to a teenage boy discovering his father’s extramarital affair with a woman. A 43-year-old man gave his mobile phone to his son to keep him engaged but the boy ended up discovering audio recordings of his father conversation with his lover while playing games.
The son brought the extramarital affair of his father to his mother’s notice. The 39-year-old woman who is a resident of Banashankari III stage has approached police seeking action against her husband who she accused of assaulting her.
As per the police, the boy’s mother works as a schoolteacher and takes tuition. On July 11, his husband who is said to be a leader of a social organization gave his cellphone to his teenage son. The boy who was playing games accidentally opened the phone recorder and WhatsApp chat conversation only to stumble upon obscene messages and audios exchanged between his father and another woman.
When the man’s wife questioned him, he allegedly assaulted her. In a police complaint, the woman had said that her husband threatened her with dire consequences if she told any family member about his affair.
The police are yet to probe the case as the woman is delaying appearance in the station. The sources also say that the family members of the man are asking her to withdraw the complaint.
