The man, the spouse of a school teacher, allegedly arrived at the school after his wife summoned him to discuss a dispute with the school’s chef over sweeping the grounds. Videos of the incident depict him striking the woman, who is laying on the ground, as other employees attempt to intervene.

The victim stated that she had a disagreement with the teacher on Saturday after being ordered to sweep the school’s premises, which is not her responsibility. The issue was resolved, but a dispute broke out again today after the teacher persisted on the same. She claimed that when the chef refused, the teacher summoned her husband, who accompanied a friend to the school and assaulted the cook.
The incident occurred at Sarai Middle School in Adalpur, municipality of Hajipur. The chef was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The victim alleges that the man assaulted another cook at the school three months ago, and a police report was also submitted against him; however, the situation was resolved after the man apologized.
