Bitcoin and Ethereum Prices Today: Bitcoin and Ethereum began Monday with mixed moves. Bitcoin opened at $64,680.23 on July 20, 2026, which was about 0.2% lower than where it started on Sunday. Later in the morning, its price moved slightly higher to $64,694.96 at 9:34 a.m. ET.

Ethereum had a better start which opened at $1,871.21, up 0.5% from the previous day’s opening price, and was trading at $1,875.30 at 9:35 a.m. ET.

Even though both cryptocurrencies have gained over past month investors are still unsure about what could happen during the rest of 2026. Some experts believe prices could move much higher, while others think the market may stay weak for some time. Bitcoin has remained near the $64,000 mark in recent days as traders continue to watch inflation, interest rates and global events.

Experts Remain Divided on Prices will go

There are different opinions about Bitcoin’s future. Crypto analyst Darkforst recently said that many investors who bought Bitcoin between $75,000 and $126,000 are now selling at a loss. That is seen by some market watchers as a sign that confidence remains weak in the short term.

However, not everyone agrees. Standard Chartered has kept its prediction that Bitcoin could reach $100,000 by the end of 2026. Prediction platform Polymarket is taking a more balanced view. Traders there currently expect Bitcoin to finish the year between $70,000 and $75,000. For Ethereum many believe it could end 2026 between $2,000 and $2,250.
