Across the state, the Education Department has taken enforcement measures against 2,087,063 students who are enrolled in government institutions. It was discovered that these pupils had been absent from school for a continuous 15-day period without obtaining prior authorization from authorities of the education department. The Education Department has consequently implemented stringent measures. As a result, students who are subject to the jurisdiction of this action will be deemed ineligible to take the board examinations for the 10th and 12th grades.

KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, has provided clarification that in order for students impacted by this measure to be allowed to sit for board examinations, their parents must first submit an affidavit affirming their children’s commitment to avoid repeating the error.
Furthermore, as per the directives of Additional Chief Secretary K.K. Pathak, comprehensive inspections of government schools falling under the purview of Block Education Officers and District Education Officers have been scheduled. For those who do not comply, strict measures have been recommended as well.
In addition, the Additional Chief Secretary in Bihar for the Education Department has instructed the District Magistrates of all Bihar districts to provide preliminary notices to pupils who fail to appear for three consecutive days.
