India reported 16,505 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. In the same period, the number of recoveries is 19,557, while 214 individuals have succumbed to the COVID-19. With this, the total COVID-19 cases in India has reached 1,03,40,470. The death toll has surged to 1,49,649, as per the Union Health Ministry’s latest update.
