BSP says no to any alliance in Madhya Pradesh

BSP supremo Mayawati confirms break-up with Samajwadi Party, terms it temporary

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has already announced 22 candidates for upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly election and BSP also cleared on Tuesday that, party will fight over 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh.

BSP, Madhya Pradesh, State President, Pradeep Ahirwar, told Newsd that “BSP Supremo, Mayawati has decided to go alone in Madhya Pradesh and BSP is ready for battle on all the 230 seats”.

Congress Madhya Pradesh, President, Kamal Nath earlier stated that, Congress is trying to collaborate with BSP in Madhya Pradesh.

“I want to clear that, there is no scope for alliance with anyone”, said Pradeep Ahirwar.

During 2013 state assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, BSP managed victory over four constituencies and Pradeep Ahirwar speaking on the lines of success in 2018 assembly elections opined that “ We are looking to conquest much more seats this time than 2013”.

As per the sources, currently there are very few chances of BSP to alliance with anyone in Madhya Pradesh, apart from Samajwadi Party and Congress.
