Prime minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the Karyakarta Mahakumbh of BJP in Bhopal on Tuesday. 10 lakhs of BJP workers who were expected to attend the program seems to be not happening as the state bus operators have asked the BJP to clear their previous dues of Rs 3 crore 17 lakhs first.
Madhya Pradesh Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh said that he has talked to the bus operators union and they have agreed for providing the buses for ferrying our Karykartas to the venue. Bus operators are demanding for the payment of previous dues of the BJP and denied them giving the buses this time.
Bus operators have said, “Previously BJP and the state government have done many such rallies and programs but they have never done the payment, as a result of that we had a huge loss in the business. Once our dues are paid then only our buses will move for the Kayakarta Mahakumbh.”
It is a matter of serious concern for the Bhartiya Janata Party MP state unit, as they were given the responsibility of making the arrangements for commutations of party workers. An estimate of 10 lakhs workers was given to the state BJP unit, but this denial by the Bus operators at the last moment is going to cause a huge embarrassment for the party.
As the state transport minister is claiming that all scores have been settled with the bus operators, but if this doesn’t happen, how 10 lakhs will reach and attend the Karyakarta Mahakumbh?
