In these moments of panic, exercising caution is the right way to go. Apart from disinfecting your hands, it is also essential to properly clean our smartphones. Mobile phones can be the prime carrier of disease carriers as they are a hotbed for bacteria and viruses.

Experts have told many times that phones can breed many kinds of viruses. Washing your hands is the best way to contain the spread of the virus. Smartphones can transfer the virus back into your hands after you wash them. No amount of hand cleansing can be enough if one touches their phone and then touch their face, one can contact disease.

One thing needs to be noted always that one should not keep handkerchief along with their phones in the same jeans pocket. Ensuring having earphones on always helps. Make sure that you clean your headphones with your hand sanitiser to prevent the spread of the disease.

How to clean your smartphone in a right way?

To prevent coronavirus infection from spreading, one can clean their smartphone screens with alcohol wipes at least twice a day.  If one uses a phone that is IP68 water-resistant, one can use soap to clean their phone. Use a tissue to clean every corner of your phone.

However, don’t forget to switch off your gadget first as use of sanitizer or any other cleaning product is generally not recommended on devices. Also, ensure that you clean your hands after cleaning your gadget.
