The accused, Suman Kumari, was the prime suspect in the murder of Vidhi Chand (82). She was produced before a court on Friday and sent to three-day police remand, they said.
The police said that an accused, identified as Anil Jadhav had forcibly kidnapped the girl and established physical relations with her in a lodge.
The incident took place on Wednesday in Mumbra area and efforts were on to nab the two absconding accused, they said.
Hours after the incident, her friend Gopu (20) with whom the deceased girl was said to be in love for some time, was taken into custody.
According to the police, the victim was alone in the house when the accused arrived there. He covered her mouth with a pillow to muffle her screams and stabbed her 51 times with a screwdriver.
The accused — Binay Lama, a resident of Tinsukia district of Assam — was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident, they said.
The police have arrested three of the accused and detained the minors involved in the assault that took place in a chawl on Friday night, an official said.
During the investigation, several suspects were questioned and after getting inputs about the whereabouts of the victim, a police team was sent to Haryana from where the girl was rescued, she said.
The incident happened in Dhoushar Dehribar village under Gola police station area here on Wednesday, they said.
