The body of the man identified as Mahir alias Imran was found by a roadside in Bhagirathi Vihar on Wednesday night, they said.
According to officials, Welcome Police station received information regarding the dead body of a male aged about 30-35 years on the road near the Community Centre at West Gorakh Park area on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place on Tuesday when Dharamvir Jatav, who hailed from Kalanjari village of Meerut district, beheaded his 50-year-old wife Sundri with a sword, they said.
