CBSE 2020 Board Exams for remaining papers of CBSE 12th and 10th will conduct from July 1 to July 15, 2020, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhroyal ‘Nishank’ tweeted. On Thursday, May 7, he had also announced that NTA will conduct the JEE Advanced Examination on August 23.

CBSE Syllabus 2020 to be reduced:

Ministry of Human Resources Development announced through its official Twitter Handle that the CBSE is planning to reduce the syllabus for the next academic year.

The Ministry of Human Resources Development also tweeted that no exam will be conducted for class 10 students nationwide, except for students from North-East Delhi.

On April 1, CBSE announced that it will be conducting exams for 29 subjects out of approximately 90 that were left around the time the nationwide lockdown imposed. For Class 10, the exam is only held for students in Northeast Delhi, who were unable to take the exam due to riots.

For Class 12th, CBSE will hold exams for business studies, geography, Hindi (core), Hindi (elective), home science, sociology, computer science (old), computer science (new), information practice (old), information practice (new), information technology and bio-technology.

In addition to this, all tests that 12th class students in Northeast Delhi cannot take will also be held.

CBSE is also working on resuming the evaluation process of answer sheets, which was stopped in March due to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown. One option to consider is to deliver the answer script to the examiner at home.

The results of the 29 class 12th exams are most likely to be announced at the end of August.
