CBSE class X result likely to be declared tomorrow

The wait is finally over!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare its result for class X on June 3, though the timings are yet to be confirmed. The results will be declared on its official website cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Every year CBSE announces the date and time prior to result declaration. However, the officials have not formally informed about the same.

This year, a total of 16,67,573 students have appeared for the Class 10th examinations wherein 7,81,463 students appeared in CBSE’s school based exam and 8,86,506 students took the Board-based exam.

Earlier on Sunday, i.e on 28th May, CBSE declared the results of class 12th. This year a lot of hustle bustle took place on the issue of moderation of marks which delayed both 10th and 12th standard results.

However, this time class 12th pass percentage fell to 82.02%.

According to the PTI reports, CBSE had last month decided to mention grace marks on the mark sheets along with the subject marks.

Follow the steps mentioned below to check the class X results:

  1. Go to the official site cbse.nic.in
  2. Click the link ‘Secondary School Examination (Class 10) Results 2017
  3. Enter your roll number and name
  4. After you have submitted the details, the result will be displayed on the screen
  5. Take a printout for future references
