Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold board exams post lockdown for 28 major subjects. CBSE informed on Thursday, April 23, 2020 to eliminate rumours circulating on social media about the cancellation of examinations.

As students are increasingly concerned about the date for CBSE Board Exam 2020, board officials clarified that so far, CBSE has not considered cancelling the exam.

The board is still discussing the pending exams with stakeholders, and only after assessing the situation after May 3, will the appropriate statement be given.

The warning was issued after the rumours about the CBSE cancellation of the 10th and 12th board examinations spread around due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As previously announced, the CBSE has reviewed the situation and decided to conduct board tests on only 28 major papers. Those exam subjects are essential for students seeking to enter higher education institutions.
