The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) will release the CEED 2024 result today on the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in/2024. Students who pass the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED 2024) will be eligible for admission to various postgraduate programmes offered by Indian institutes of technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru, and other participating institutions.
The final CEED 2024 score will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to marks obtained in Part-A and 75% weightage to marks obtained in Part-B. In CEED 2024, the average and standard deviation for Part-A are 41.90 and 16.72, respectively. The CEED 2024 score card will be available for download from March 11 and is valid for one year from the date of declaration of the result.

The exam pattern
As part of CEED 2024, objective questions were divided into three types: numerical answer type (NAT), multiple-choice question type (MCQ), and multiple-selection question type (MSQ). As part of this test, candidates will be evaluated on their visual and spatial abilities, environment and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language skills, observation skills, and design sensitivity.
In CEED 2024, Part-B consists of five questions that test design, drawing and writing skills. The questions in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen, and the student will need to write the answers in the answer book provided.
Candidates’ information will be shared with the result sharing institutes by the UCEED-CEED office, IIT Bombay. Neither the institute nor the participating institute will provide information regarding the admission criteria for postgraduate programs. For information on the postgraduate design programs at the respective institutes, students will need to consult the respective institute’s websites. It will not be possible to contact the UCEED-CEED Office, IIT Bombay with queries regarding this matter.
