Chandauli: Former students union leader files case for wife’s murder, police refuses honor killing

Varanasi: Former student union president of LBS degree college Ankit Yadav, resident of Alinagar police station area of ​​Chandauli, has accused his in-laws of killing his wife Preeti Yadav.

Varanasi: Former student union president of LBS degree college Ankit Yadav, resident of Alinagar police station area of ​​Chandauli, has accused his in-laws of killing his wife Preeti Yadav.

Ankit has filed a case against his wife’s parents, including two uncles and two cousins. The police is investigating the case but have not arrested any family member till now, Ankit also staged a protest outside Alinagar police station for some time on Friday.

Former student union president of LBS degree college Ankit and Preeti Yadav, resident of Manas city, got married in court on November 9, 2020. Ankit said Pretti’s family was not happy with their marriage.

He also added that on November 29, her family had taken Preeti with them saying that she would get married following all rituals. It is alleged that Preeti’s family later murdered her.

According to Ankit, Preeti had also written a letter before leaving the family, in which she has held her maternal uncle responsible for any incident.
