Chhath Puja 2021 is the auspicious festival dedicated to Lord Surya and his Vedic consorts Usha ( Goddess of Dawn), and Pratyusha (Goddes of Dusk). This festival is observed especially by Biharis.
It is a four-day festival mainly celebrated in Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. The festival commences with Nahay Khay on Shukla Paksha Chaturthi Tithi of Karika month and concludes with Usha Arghya on Saptami Tithi.

“Chhathi Maiya” is the mother goddess who provides strength and support to the poor. She is worshipped as the “Goddess of the festival”.
