Citroen eC3 X Launch In India: Citroen has started teasing an upgraded version of its entry-level electric hatchback in India. The new model is expected to use the name eC3 X, and reports say it is likely to get a small refresh rather than a full makeover. Autocar India says the update should bring minor styling changes, a better feature list, and no big mechanical change. It also says Citroen is giving the electric version the “X” suffix, like the petrol C3 X.
Fresh touches on the outside
The outside look is expected to stay simple but a little smarter. The teaser image suggests a new front bumper and a silver skid plate at the bottom. The car may also get LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. On the sides, the eC3 X is expected to wear new dual-tone alloy wheels and ORVMs with built-in LED turn signals. These changes are small, but they should make the car look less plain and a bit more polished.

New bits inside the cabin
Most of the bigger changes are expected inside the car. The eC3 X may get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a leather finish on the dashboard too. Citroen is also expected to add cruise control with a speed limiter, LED ambient lighting, USB Type-C charging ports, automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming IRVM.
The older features are likely to stay in place as well. That means the car should still keep its 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with six airbags, ESP, and TPMS.
Battery and Power
Under the skin, the eC3 X is expected to remain the same. Autocar India says no major mechanical change is planned. That means the car should continue with the 29.2 kWh battery pack and the same electric motor setup.
The motor is expected to make 57 hp and 143 Nm, just like the current eC3. So the big change here is likely to be comfort and style, not speed or range. The official Citroen India page currently lists the e-C3 with a 320 km ARAI range and a starting price of ₹12.13 lakh, which gives a clear idea of where the model sits in the market today,
