Complaint filed against Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh for hurting religious sentiments

A complaint has been filed by Amritsar police against Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh for hurting religious sentiments of a community in a TV show, a senior official said on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the complaint was filed by Sonu Jafar, president of the Christian Front of Ajnala Block, along with video footage of the show that aired on Christmas eve.

The complainant alleged that “the religious sentiments of Christians have been hurt”.

The FIR was registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or reli¬gious beliefs.

“We have registered a case against the three and further investigations are being held,” Amritsar Rural SSP, Vikram Jeet Duggal said.

On the work front, Raveena Tandon will next be seen as a politician in the sequel of KGF. On the other hand, Bharti Singh was in the news recently when her co-star Kapil Sharma had sent an emotional video for her on the singing reality show, Indian Idol 11. While Farah Khan who was directing the remake of Satte Pe Satta along with Rohit Shetty has refuted all the rumours.  She is set to produce called Mrs Serial Killer, starring Jacqueline Fernandez and the same will be directed by husband, Shirish Kunder.
