Coronavirus outbreak: Moradabad reports first case after woman with travel history to France tests positive

Moradabad has reported its first COVID-19 case after a woman with travel history to France has been found positive for coronavirus.

As per reports, the woman who has been found infected with the disease is relative to a cabinet minister. The woman resides in the Mandape area in Moradabad.

Uttar Pradesh has so far reported 24 coronavirus cases while Maharashtra, with 63, has the highest number of COVID-19 infected people. Almost all states in the country have reported COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, state administrations are continuously advising people not to venture out of their homes in order to contain the virus from spreading further among people.

Also, on March 21, UP’s Noida confirmed another case of coronavirus. The patient belongs to Supertech Capetown Society located in Sector 74. The society has been currently sealed to avoid the spread of the virus after District Magistrate’s order.The entry and exit of vehicles have also been banned in the sector for three days – March 21 to March 23. The district administration has requested people to stay in home quarantine as a preventive measure in the emergency situation.
