COVID-19 outbreak: Bhilwara model might get implemented across country, know everything about it!

The central government now might implement the Bhilwara model of Rajasthan across the country to check the growing outbreak of corona in the country.

In Bhilwara, the first corona positive case was found, but later on, the state Government made the best effort and stopped it at around 30. The policy adopted here to deal with the coronavirus can be implemented throughout the country.

Union Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba sought detailed information on the model from state Chief Secretary DB Gupta. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and senior officials of the medical department have also been apprised in this regard.

The Chief Secretary of Rajasthan said that Cabinet secretary Gauba has hinted at the implementation of the model across the country, praising the measures taken in Bhilwara to protect the corona. The Union Health Ministry officials have also sought information from Additional Chief Secretary of the medical department Rohit Kumar Singh in the state.

The state’s medical minister, Dr Raghu Sharma said that the outbreak of corona in Bhilwara spread simultaneously in the third week of March and the government started house-to-house screening. 18 lakh people were screened during the same. 15,000 teams were formed for this.

The first lockdown and then curfew was strictly adhered to. The people found positive were immediately isolate. The police guarded outside the houses of the quarantined people so that they could not get out. Sharma said that earlier, the Union Health Ministry had sought information about the medicines that the doctors had taken in the treatment of corona positive patients in the SMS hospital in Jaipur. Many patients have been healthy due to those medicines.

In Bhilwara, when the situation worsened, the lockdown was strictly adhered to. Representatives of public representatives, media persons and social organizations were also not admitted to the city.

A few officers of the district administration and police also went to the city. People were given an emphasis on adhering to social distances. The doctors and the paramedical staff kept their morale high. It also showed effect and many infected patients recovered.
