CRPF Head Constable’s Hand Chopped off by Husband: A CRPF head constable’s hand was allegedly severed by her spouse during an argument at a hotel in Adarsh Nagar, northwest Delhi, on Saturday, according to police.

The couple is from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. They had booked into the hotel around 3 p.m. on Friday. The woman was in the metropolis to administer a departmental test.
According to police, the suspect may have given something to his 28-year-old wife, which caused her to become incapacitated; he then severed her hand at the wrist on Friday evening. When the woman regained consciousness, she contacted the hotel personnel, who then notified the authorities.
“We are verifying the victim’s provided information. The woman has been admitted to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial hospital in a semiconscious state. “She is currently unable to provide additional information about the case,” a senior police officer explained.
“However, we are attempting to locate the fugitive accused spouse. “A case has also been registered under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder),” he said.
