Thousands of candidates across India are expected to get relief through this updated calendar.
Why Were CUET-UG 2026 Exams Postponed?
The CUET-UG 2026 exam on May 28 was deferred after the Government of India revised the holiday date for Bakrid. After that announcement, several student groups and education bodies asked the NTA to reschedule so that candidates would not face inconvenience during the festival period.
As a response, the NTA postponed both shifts scheduled for May 28, and it also assured students that new dates would be announced soon. Now, the revised schedule is out officially.
