Underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar’s younger brother, Iqbal Kaskar, claims that his elder brother is in Pakistan. Iqbal, who is currently in the custody of Thane Police after being arrested in connection with an extortion case, told investigators that Dawood has changed his location in Pakistan four times since 2014. He made these revelations when the police were probing the direct or indirect involvement of Dawood Ibrahim in the extortion racket.
As per Zee News reports, Iqbal Kaskar said Dawood Ibrahim has been living in Pakistan and his security in the country has been increased by 50%. He added that is running his illegal business in West and South Africa. He also has links with drug dealers operating in Latin America, revealed Iqbal Kaskar in police custody. Kaskar has also said that Dawood does not speak to his relatives over the phone.
Iqbal was arrested from his sister Haseena Parkar’s home in south Mumbai late on Monday night for allegedly running an extortion racket. Parambir Singh, Thane Commissioner of Police, said that three people have been arrested in an extortion case and are being questioned.
According to an Enforcement Directorate official, a large chunk of Dawood Ibrahim’s money has been invested in the UK and in Dubai and India.
