100 missing children have been reunited with their families, which includes 3 specially-abled kids, said police on Sunday.

Deputy commissioner of police(northeast), Atul Thakur said that the northeast district is densely populated. Many missing kidnapping cases are reported in various police stations across the district.

He added, “Anti Human Trafficking Unit of North East District has reunited 100 missing children with their families.”

The concerned police staff visited Juvenile and shelter homes in the district and tracked down 100 kids in the age range of 5 and 18 years.

The children belonged to Delhi and its nearby states of UP, Haryana; and Bihar.

Out of the total rescued, 79 were male and 21 were female, said the DCP.
