Deepak, a 25-year-old man was allegedly killed in a scuffle that happened between groups; Another man sustained injuries, said police. The incident happened at Sawan Park area in Delhi.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police(North-West), Aslam Khan, Dharma and Kailash had gone to Dharma’s relatives home for a function. At the venue, Kailash ended up getting into a fight with Dharma’s relatives, Deepak and Niku. Kailash was then forcefully sent back home.
Later, Kailash along with his father, brother and cousins waited for Dharma to come to Sawan Park area eying revenge, said the DCP.
Once Dharma accompanied by Deepak and Niku returned, a scuffle occurred between the two parties; Deepak got stabbed in the knee and died due to excessive bleeding, the DCP added. While Niku is undergoing treatment after getting hit on the head by a stone.
A case has been booked and Kailash along with two others have been arrested.
The DCP said that the fourth accused is currently absconding.
