In an extremely disturbing incident coming in from Delhi, a 35-year-old woman was killed while her husband and a minor son left critically injured after they were repeatedly attacked by neighbour amid an argument over a petty issue. What is worse is that in the neighbourhood everybody watched, some filmed the attack on their phones, but no one stopped the attacker.

The video is now doing rounds on the social media where 40-year-old Mohammad Azad is seen repeatedly stabbing his neighbour Veeru (also in 40s) near their homes in Khyala in west Delhi. He had already attacked Veeru’s wife Sunita, and their 18-year-old son Akash. Veeru lay outside his house with his intestines hanging out.

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot but accused had ran away. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital with multiple stab injuries. Sunita succumbed to her injuries during treatment. Veeru and Akash are undergoing treatment.

According to the reports, Azad and Sunita had an argument. Later she narrated the incident to her son Akash who rushed to Azad’s house, right in front of their house, and allegedly started abusing him for getting into an argument with his mother. On this, Azad stepped out of his house and had a fight with Akash. Seeing his son being overpowered, Akash’s father Viru also rushed out of the house to help his son.

During the fight, Azad took out a knife and stabbed both Akash and Viru. Seeing this, as Sunita came out, Azad also stabbed her multiple times.

As locals gathered on the spot, seeing all the three bleeding profusely, Azad fled from the spot.
A case has been registered under various sections at Khyala police station. A manhunt has been launched. Further investigation is underway.
