Three people have been arrested for firing shots after a fight erupted over song requests. The persons arrested included a disc jockey. The incident reportedly took place at Palam Village(Delhi) at a family function on the late evening of Sunday.
The fight broke out when Shanky Bhardwaj and Tushar Bhardwaj demanded the DJ, Akshay, to play a certain song.
Deputy Commissioner Devender Arya said that on reaching the spot of the incident they found Shanky and Tushar lying in blood on the floor.
The two were rushed to the hospital after which their condition came out of danger, Arya further stated.
DJ Akshay(19) and the employers Sanjay Sharma(29) and Ashish Sharma(23) were arrested the following day of the incident.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Ajay Choudhary said, “All the accused persons and victims are neighbours. During celebration at the family function, both Bhardwaj brothers along with their friends while dancing on floor have verbal argument with Akshay over playing of songs.”
