A prisoner escaped from Agra jail and spent almost a week with his girlfriend in Goa. After the seven days of tender moments with his beloved, the honest prisoner returned to the prison.
According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, the prisoner’s name is Jitendra. He has been in police custody since 2014 on the charges of murder.
A week ago, he was to be produced before the court for hearing, he escaped on the way. The search operation started by police miserably failed to locate him.
In November, the prisoner requested the jail superintendent to allow him to spend time with his girlfriend. When the officials turned away the request, Jitendra decided to escape.
After getting out from jail, Jitendra called his girlfriend and both boarded a train to Goa where they spent time together.
Police Inspector told Dhainik Bhaskar that when returned, the prisoner was sent to jail and two policemen have been suspended already for negligence.
