It makes their travel more convenient by letting them prepay a set number of tolls per year and eliminating the need to transact at each toll plaza one at a time.

FASTag Annual Pass: Who Is It For?
The pass is designed for:
- Taxis, ride-hailing, shared cars, shared vans all operate as private transport under this umbrella.
- Regular users of tolled highways particularly those commuting through the same toll plazas more than six days/week (m.economictimes.com, livemint.com, testbook.com).
How to Purchase and Use?
- Open the Rajmarg Yatra App or NHAI/MoRTH site.
- Select the “Annual Pass” option and enter your FASTag-linked vehicle number.
- Pay the ₹3,000 fee online.
- Activate: pass becomes active—linked to your FASTag—in a few minutes to 24 hours.
- Travel across all NHAI toll plazas without separate payments until yearly expiry or 200 trips are reached.
- Renew after expiry or when the 200-trip limit is reached.

Limitations & Conditions
- Not applicable to commercial drivers (e.g. trucks, taxis, buses).
- 200-trip limit: After you hit 200 trips, any new tolls will be at the full-rate unless you add more funds.
- Non-transferable
- Linked to a specific Vehicle Registration (VRN) and FASTag cannot be moved/ported between vehicles.

1. Check that your FASTag is active, linked to your vehicle VRN, and not blocked.
2. Ensure there is enough balance in your FASTag if you plan to use other toll plazas as well.
3. Monitor 200-trip usage frequently through app or web portal.
