Bigg Boss 14 fame Rakhi Sawant has grabbed headlines through her stint in Salman Khan’s show. Now, the drama queen has landed herself in trouble.
According to a report in Navbharat Times, an FIR has been lodged against Rakhi and her brother Rakesh at Vikaspuri police station in Delhi. Apart from the siblings, Raj Khatri has been named in the FIR. The complaint has emerged from a 2017 case.
A retired bank employee Shailesh Srivastavahad met Rakhi’s brother, Rakesh, through his friend Raj Khatri for a business deal. They decided to produce a film based on Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s life and also planned to open a dance institute in Vikaspuri. Rakesh, brother of Rakhi, assured them that the actress will be a part of the institute. Rakesh and Raj took Rs 6 lakh from Shailesh and gave him a PDC (post-dated-check) of Rs 7 lakh.
When Shailesh reached the bank, he found that the signatures were wrong. Shailesh tried to reach out to Rakesh but in vain. He then lodged an FIR with the police. Rakhi Sawant has not responded to the claim till now.
Rakhi Sawant recently garnered limelight due to her stint in Bigg Boss 14. Her mother Jaya Sawant is undergoing cancer treatment. Bollywood’s Salman Khan and brother Sohail Khan has provided financial help to the actor-dance.
