FMGE Exam Details: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially announced the schedule for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session. This exam is a critical gateway for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their medical (MBBS) degree abroad and now wish to practice medicine in India.
FMGE Exam Details: Application Process
Registration & Information Bulletin
The Information Bulletin, which contains detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, fee structure, and other essential guidance, goes live on November 14, 2025 at 3 PM. From that same time, the application portal opens, allowing candidates to fill out and submit their forms.
Eligibility Documents
According to NBEMS guidelines, foreign MBBS degree certificates must be attested. Also, to be eligible, candidates’ MBBS degree completion (or equivalent) should be dated on or before October 31, 2025.
Payment and Rectification Windows
Payment Edit Window: After submitting, candidates who face payment issues will have an opportunity to correct or resubmit between December 9 and December 11, 2025.
Document Upload Corrections: There is also a window for fixing deficient or incorrect document uploads, candidates can make corrections until January 2, 2026.
Photo/Signature Edits: For images (photograph, signature, thumb impression), a final selective edit window is scheduled December 29–31, 2025.
FMGE December 2025 Registration
1. Visit the official website: natboard.edu.in
2. Click FMGE → Apply for FMGE December 2025
3. Choose new registration and fill in: Name, DOB, Email, Mobile Number
4. Use the User ID & Password to login which you got.
5. Fill personal details like name, address, nationality, etc.
6. Fill Qualification Details like:
- MBBS University & Country
- Year of Passing
- If done, the internship details
- Passport details
7. Upload required documents.
8. Choose exam vity that is most convenient for you from the list of cities.
9. Pay examination fee by using a card/UPI/net banking.
