In a shocking development, the Andhra Pradesh police apprehended former YSRCP MLA J Sudhakar on allegations of repeatedly raping a minor girl over the span of four years.
The arrest took place after the 17-year-old victim mustered the courage to file a complaint, along with furnishing video evidence of the abuse.
The atrocities reportedly occurred from 2019 to 2023, during which the minor was employed as a maid in Sudhakar’s household. The case has been registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the POCSO Act.
